Al-Mustansiriya University participates in the opening of Iraq Education Exhibition and Conference 2023

Al-Mustansiriya University participated in the Iraq Education Exhibition and Conference 2023 in its first edition at the Baghdad International Fair, which is organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with Arab and international participation and a distinguished academic presence. The Minister of Education, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed in his speech during the opening ceremony that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has succeeded in establishing an environment of openness to global academic spaces and has decided that Iraqi universities will carry a non-stereotypical identity that acquires interaction, presence, and competition from the international path. He pointed out that the projects of the higher education institution are characterized by methodology and strategic vitality, indicating at the same time that the most prominent of these projects is the unprecedented educational transformation to the Bologna path, which was implemented through partnership and cooperation with UNESCO in technical universities and that it will take its way to implementation in more than six hundred specialized departments in engineering and science colleges in governmental and private university formations, and the pioneering project (Study in Iraq) in which more than three thousand international students registered to study in Iraqi universities. For his part, the President of Al-Mustansiriya University, Professor Dr. Hamid Fadel Al-Tamimi, said that the university was keen to participate in the higher education exhibition organized by the ministry as it is one of the largest educational gatherings in Iraq where major Iraqi universities and higher institutes (governmental and private) participate alongside Arab universities and international institutions. He indicated that participation in this exhibition is a real opportunity to present the scientific output of Al-Mustansiriya University through displaying publications and issues in various scientific fields to visitors from various Iraqi and Arab universities, in addition to highlighting the role that the university plays internationally in multiple fields. The university's pavilion witnessed a large turnout to view the publications and promotional materials about all the university's specializations and facilities, and includes a display of a reportage about the university, its journey, and stages of development.
